Is there a criminal charge for trying to sue someone in order to avoid prosecution? I’m obviously not a lawfag but I assume a lawsuit doesn’t legally prevent a prosecution. In fact there are probably situations where a lawsuit is warranted against the prosecuting party by the accused. But is there a law against using a lawsuit to attempt to protect oneself via the will of the people? Maybe obstruction of justice? Sort of like these Dems running for president to protect themselves?
