if you are a gimp user AND you have noticed that the line spacing feature in text tool options isn't working properly, read on. otherwise ignore and move on…
this morning i filed a bug report with the gimp team; not expecting much in the way of a response, i logged out and did other things. couple hours later i get an email in regards my bug report. basically it suggested my problem was with pango v1.44 and not gimp v2.10.12. me being inquisitive, i followed the link provided. after researching the pango bug in the link, i rolled back pango from 1.44 to 1.43 and my problem was solved. i decided to file another bug report with pango and close my open gimp bug report.
the pango team appears to be in denial in regards the issue. not surprising and to be honest, i don't care as i can meme again (read that as the roll back solved my problem).
