We still have free will to just not buy any of the “smart” devices which I think it’s an interesting tactic of theirs, to make people feel smart for buying them..”my home is better than yours…” kind of thinking.

I don’t buy or sub to any magazines but sometimes look when I’m grocery shopping or at the gym. Ones marketed toward homemakers like Good Housekeeping and Better home and Gardens is now heavily pushing all the “smart” tech. I was surprised, yes I wasn’t. All under the guise of saving time.

 

If my house locks my doors and sets itself on fire because I called someone a faggot on here, well, it’s not really a time saver, eh. Kek.
