Note: It is not clear whether Epstein had this black book entry for the father William III, or the son William IV (wife Lohralee); however, since the son is the heir to the title, and all the connections are the same, it doesn't even matter which one he means. The family is as elite as it gets.
William Astor III is former UK Prime Minister David Cameron's brother-in-law, via his wife Annabel's daughter Samantha by her previous marriage.
Even at that, William Waldorf Astor isn't NEARLY as interesting as his late grandmother Nancy Witcher Langhorne (born in what used to be called "old Virginia"), who was interesting enough to eclipse multiple generations of her own family. Her portrait was painted by John Singer Sargent, which alone speaks volumes. Also a member of the "Cliveden Set" (pic related), which were very well known in the 1930's as Nazi appeasers:

We need to be aware of this remnant of Nazi sympathizers, because among the UK elite, it is VERY likely they never really went away after the war. I sincerely don't believe they did.
