I just watched the entire Senate Commerce Hearing on Tech Companies Use of Algorithms on YouTube.

The YouTube version is MISSING the final minute or two of Ted Cruz' statements about the Veritas report, which are SHOCKING. It also removes comments from Mr. Schatz directly to Google.

Did Google clip this chunk of the senate testimony out of this video? For your comparison, here are the two links:

Also, YouTube appears to be making it REALLY hard to find this hearing on YouTube.

I smell some incredibly nasty fuckery going on here. Computers don't just conveniently clip out chunks of video at the most convenient point.

This didn'g just happen in one video, it happened in two. The YouTube video I linked above is the 2nd I found for this post. The original one clipped it out in a different way.

I think YouTube (Google) is scrambling to edit these videos like a fucking Chinese fire drill. Can other anons please try to find more examples and post them (with timecodes?)

If you're watching the YouTube version, watch for the edit where they clip out a whole bunch of the exchange. Then watch the C-SPAN version to see what actually happened.

ty anon. Once you know what to look for, it is pretty easy to find the edited versions. They're clipping part of what Cruz said out - "Programming PEOPLE."

Because…you know…nobody has uploaded the Senate hearing on AI today if you filter on upload date.

IT IS EVEN WORSE! If you search for the EXACT title of this video on YouTube, their search will NOT find it at all.

They're totally censoring this hearing video! This is a 100% ethical indictment of Google/YouTube!
