The Rays we already knew about - they very publicly used ticket revenue to fund the removal of Confederate statues in their city a few years ago. As if that had anything to do with baseball.
Well actually it did, for those who know their baseball history – It was largely returning Confederate POWs who introduced the sport of baseball to the state of Florida in the 1860s. They learned the game from the Union prison guards. But if anything, that should have given the Rays a reason to honor the Confederate soldiers.
