I have been in it. I worked at a paint store once about 16yrs ago and they came in and ordered a shit ton of bright ass colors from us.
There is a place, not sure if same but that is frozen also. All walls have ice on them. A LOT of food places store food down there. It can remain frozen for who knows how long down there.
ALSO.. Hollyweird has vaults there that store movie reels. Not sure if anything else Hollywood is there or not, but interesting none the less.

Google first came to KC to set up the Google Fiber. There is a business place there in the mines that you can rent even a room in if you are a business that needs an office. Before Q (just dawned on me tonight us going back and forth) that it could be for all the wrong reasons. The Intermodel Hubs are here in KC also. They are the hubs for the NAFTA superhighway. Rail and truck access and access to multiple (N,W,S,E) lanes of travel. Yep. Pretty important if your cargo is humans/drugs/anything..
Mining in the midwest is pretty nuts in areas. Joplin, it was built on mines that date back so far they don't know where they all are. I went out to help rebuild and the Hospital there had to be dismantled in place down to the basements because they cannot implode anything there due to possible mine collapses.
