It's going to be much easier for most people if Trump et al. seem to continuously win while the news tells them the complete opposite.

When the truth comes out, that specific issue with trafficking, murdering etc. is actually going to be somewhat easier to swallow.

They will make the link to why their entire world seemed to be indicating Trump was nothing, could never win, always wrong.

Probably one of the better ways to induce the truth, if that angle will be publicly acknowledged.

Got to do little psy-ops on the people, of course. To their own benefit. To cushion the blow.
