Vimeo bans media watchdog Project Veritas after it accused Google of anti-Trump bias

Vimeo had deleted the account of right-wing media transparency group Project Veritas just days after they published reports accusing Google of bias against conservatives and President Donald Trump.

A screenshot shared by Project Veritas on Wednesday appears to show that Vimeo removed the group’s account from its platform, citing a violation of community guidelines.

You cannot upload videos that are hateful, defamatory, or discriminatory.

The group denied breaking any rules, saying that they have done “nothing” that fits the description.

The group’s founder, James O’Keefe, pointed out that the incident with Vimeo happened several days after YouTube took down a video of their latest investigation, in which YouTube’s owner, Google, was accused of harboring bias against conservatives and President Trump.

They keep citing ‘privacy violations.’ Being embarrassed by legitimate investigative journalism is not a ‘privacy violation.’

Project Veritas is known for releasing internal documents and undercover videos they say expose liberal, left-wing bias in the media and tech companies.

Lou Dobbs Shares Gateway Pundit New Flash – Ties Crowdstrike to Atlantic Council and Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper

On Wednesday evening on Lou Dobbs Tonight, Lou shared a ‘News Alert’ that was directly from the Gateway Pundit.

Dobbs shared –

It seems like every night we learn more and more about the Deep State’s efforts to overthrow President Trump.

It has been uncovered that the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab has connections to the firm Crowdstrike. That’s the very same firm that found evidence of Russians hacking the DNC, so it is alleged, and an allegation that the FBI without its own inspection of the servers, accepted.

And who sits by the way on the Atlantic Council’s International Advisory Board, well that would be former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper. What a neat little tight bunch these folks are.

Qatar Paid for Congressional Democrats' Doha Trip

Note: This post has been updated to correct the name of the Al Udeid Air Base.

Qatar's Washington embassy paid for six congressional Democrats to visit Doha last December, Al-Monitor reported Friday. U.S. Reps. Ami Bera, D-Calif., Andre Carson, D-Ind., and Dan Kildee, D-Mich., noted the payment in financial disclosure forms.

The office of U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross, D-N.J., told Al-Monitor it would amend its disclosure form to include the Qatari payment. U.S. Rep. James Himes, D-Conn., failed to disclose the trip. Rep. Brendan Boyle, D-Pa., received an extension until August to file his disclosure. Ben Smith of Buzzfeed, which co-sponsored the Doha Forum first acknowledged the trip in a Dec. 15 tweet.

Speakers at the Doha Forum included President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's son-in-law, and current Turkish Finance Minister Berat Albayrak; Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif; and Mutlaq al-Qahtani, who told the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) last year that Hamas was not a terrorist organization. Al-Qahtani serves as Qatar's counterterrorism envoy.

Carson and Himes sit on the House Intelligence Committee. Bera serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Norcross is on to the House Armed Services Committee.

At the forum, the officials met with Qatar's deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs. Qatar hosts the Al Udeid Air Base, which is home to the forward headquarters of U.S. Central Command and the headquarters of the U.S. Air Force Central Command.

Trump will not meet Kim Jong-un during South Korea trip this weekend

U.S. President Donald Trump will not meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his possible visit to the demilitarized zone in the inter-Korean border area this weekend.

Trump will take a two-day trip to South Korea from Saturday, following his trip to Japan for the G20 summit in Osaka.

Even if no face-to-face meetings are expected in the near future between Trump and Kim, the U.S. leader opened the possibility for communication with the North's young leader in a different format.

"I'll be meeting with a lot of other people, not by him," Trump told reporters before boarding Marine One at the White House. "But I may be speaking to him in a different form."

Rumors have said that Trump might hold a surprise meeting with Kim near the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjeom. The reports came amid thawing relations between Washington and Pyongyang following the leaders' recent exchange of letters.

Google Has Become Orwell’s “Ministry Of Truth

Forget ‘fake news’. Google IS fake news. It is re-writing history, the present and the future. It is using its enormous control over the ‘news feed’ to control how people think, react and act. Worse, it is working beyond their wildest imagination.

We can thank Project Veritas for breaking this story, and I expect there will be additional Google insiders who come out as whistleblowers to reveal more sordid details.

In short, Google is weaponizing its AI programs to decimate all conservative voice in America, and to make sure that Donald Trump does not get elected in 2020.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) had the opportunity to grill Maggie Stanphill, Director of Google User Experience, on the undercover video of another Google executive and leaked internal documents. Here is a partial transcript:

CRUZ: Are you familiar with the report that was released yesterday from Veritas, that included a whistleblower from within Google that included videos from a senior executive at Google, and it included documents that are reportedly internal powerpoint documents from google.

GOOGLE: Yes I heard about that report in news.

CRUZ: Have you seen the report?

GOOGLE: No I did not.

CRUZ: So you didn’t review the report to prepare fr this meeting?

GOOGLE: It’s been a busy day and I have a day job which is Digital Well-being at Google so I’m trying to make sure…

CRUZ: Well I’m sorry that this meeting is impinging on your day job.

GOOGLE: It’s a great opportunity thank you.

CRUZ: One of the things in that report and I would recommend people interested in political bias at Google watch the entire report and judge for themselves, there’s a video from a woman Jen Gennai, it’s a secret video that was recorded, Jen Gennai as I understand is the head of responsible innovation for google. Are you familiar with Miss Gennai?

GOOGLE: I work in user experience and I believe that AI group is somebody is somebody that works on AI principles. But it’s a big company and I don’t work directly with Jen.

Kremlin confirms Putin-Trump meeting during G20 summit in Japan

The Kremlin says Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump, will meet during the Group of 20 (G20) summit in Japan later this week to discuss arms control and the tense situation in the Middle East, including Iran.

Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters at a briefing in Moscow on June 26 that the meeting in Osaka will take place in the early afternoon on June 28 and should last about an hour, depending on the leaders themselves.

“As far as the subject of discussions is concerned, a lot depends on the leaders,” Ushakov told reporters, adding that they are also likely to touch upon “strategic stability” and Ukraine.

There was no immediate confirmation from U.S. officials that a meeting had been agreed upon, though both sides had expressed a strong interest in getting together during the two-day summit.

Because it would seem the C_A still runs our foreign policy

The CIA continues trafficking drugs from Afghanistan

By

VT Editors -

June 4, 2016

This is the second part of the interview granted by Friba, RAWA’s representative. Interview by Edu Montesanti, Pravda.Ru Portuguese version

Years ago, former parliamentary, writer and activist for human rights Malalaï Joya pointed out that the CIA continues trafficking drugs from Afghanistan. In an interview by e-mail (censored) to the Brazilian newspaper O Tempo, later sent to me in full also by e-mail, she stated that, “the Afghan narcotics economy is a designed project of the CIA, supported by US foreign policy. There are reports in Afghanistan that even US army is engaged in the drugs trafficking: drug mafia is in the hold of power and supported by the West.” What can you say about it?

We strongly support this statement of Malalai Joya which is based on facts.

The CIA has a long history of being involved in global drug trade in all parts of the world under the control of the US or where it has considerable influence. While a few cases have been investigated and exposed by journalists, the issue continues to remain in the shadows.

The CIA’s history began in the 1980s. Drugs were seen as the quickest and easiest way to earn money to fund CIA proxies and paramilitary forces that served them, in different countries. Gary Webb, the brave journalist who exposed the Nicaraguan Contra drug trafficking scandal and was eventually driven to suicide by an extensive smear campaign by the mainstream media, described the process like this:

Angela Merkel shakes again during official ceremony

Concerns for German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s health grow once more as she was filmed struggling to keep her composure and visibly shaking during an official ceremony for the second time this month, RT.com writes.

The incident happened during the formal appointing of the new justice minister in Berlin’s Bellevue Palace on Thursday morning. The chancellor began shaking while standing next to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who was delivering a speech. The shaking stopped and resumed several times.

Merkel was visibly distraught and placed both hands on her chest, trying to control herself. Nevertheless, she continued with the ceremony, and later shook hands, smiled, and posed for photos with other officials.

At one point, the chancellor was offered a glass of water.

An Oral History of Laurel Canyon, the 60s and 70s Music Mecca

They made music together, took drugs together, formed bands together, slept together. But none of the legends of the Laurel Canyon scene that flowered in L.A. in the late 60s and early 70s—Joni Mitchell, David Crosby, Linda Ronstadt, and others—remember it quite the same way.

Some say the Laurel Canyon music scene began when Frank Zappa moved to the corner of Lookout Mountain and Laurel Canyon Boulevard in the late 1960s. Former Byrds bassist Chris Hillman recalls writing “So You Want to Be a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” in Laurel Canyon in 1966 in his house, on a steep winding street with a name he doesn’t remember. The Doors’ lead singer Jim Morrison reportedly wrote “Love Street” while living behind the Laurel Canyon Country Store. Michelle Phillips lived with John Phillips on Lookout Mountain in 1965 during the Mamas and the Papas’ heyday. Books and documentaries have mythologized and romanticized this woodsy canyon nestled behind Sunset Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills. Still, misconceptions continue.

The Dollar’s TOAST! A Preview Of The Next 10 Years

From 2009 to this present day, the central banks have implemented emergency measures for what investors thought to be policies that are only necessary in plights, and will only be embarked upon if a crisis seems imminent.

This has been all wrong; Jerome Powell has just made it abundantly clear that QE is now a normal part of the toolkit – same as negative interest rates, and I’m certain that the FED is commissioning their economists and analysts to model the impact of capital infusion/helicopter credit to large sections of the population.

Maybe, maybe, in 10-20 years from now, when we look back at this period, will we all grasp how we have all been witnesses to the most ridiculous centralized experiment in world history, but one thing is for sure: the laws of nature are perfectly clear that there is no such thing as RECEIVING WITHOUT GIVING.

Governments and central bankers can continue to extrapolate data about the future by using the past and sell themselves on the idea that if inflation hasn’t gone wild up until now, they can continue to print. Additionally, if the stock market hasn’t crashed so far in the past 10 years, it won’t collapse if debt keeps growing, but extrapolating is a recipe for fatal errors and for colossal failures.

NSA Busted Again For Collecting U.S. Phone Records

The NSA is run by Technocrats for the benefit of Technocrats to build a total surveillance society. The agency, which reports to the Director of National Intelligence, has been rogue for many years, unwilling to be controlled by courts or Congress. ⁃ TN Editor

The National Security Agency collected records about U.S. calls and text messages that it wasn’t authorized to obtain last year, in a second such incident, renewing privacy concerns surrounding the agency’s maligned phone-surveillance program, according to government documents and people familiar with the matter.

The previously undisclosed error, which took place last October, occurred several months after the NSA said it had purged hundreds of millions of metadata records it had amassed since 2015 due to a separate overcollection episode. Metadata include the numbers and time stamps of a call or text message but not the contents of the conversation.

The American Civil Liberties Union obtained the documents, which were reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit involving the surveillance program. They are heavily redacted internal NSA memos that discuss oversight of intelligence-collection activities.

These documents only confirm that this surveillance program is beyond redemption and should be shut down for good,” Patrick Toomey, an ACLU staff attorney, said in a statement. “The NSA’s collection of Americans’ call records is too sweeping, the compliance problems too many, and evidence of the program’s value all but nonexistent. There is no justification for leaving this surveillance power in the NSA’s hands.”

Google Just Scrubbed Natural Health Websites From Its Search Results; Whistleblower Explains How and Why

Earlier this month, in one devastating algorithmic stroke, Google removed many of the top natural health and health freedom websites from their organic search results — some losing as much as 90% of their traffic. In fact, the term “organic” should no longer be used to describe Google’s referral traffic, as a jaw-dropping undercover investigation by Project Veritas reveals: Google surreptitiously manipulates its search results and auto-suggestions to conform to a very specific set of sociopolitical and economic agendas intended to manipulate elections and promote private interests.

We live in amazing times, albeit intense, filled with incredible darkness and light.

But thanks to the power of the internet, we have a level of freedom of information never enjoyed before by any previous generation on Earth — and that information is the very life’s blood of democratic ideals, and the necessary ingredient for informed consent and health freedom, our primary advocacies.

But what happens when the gate-keepers of the content that flows through this incredible invention, like Facebook and Pinterest, censor and shadow ban certain of its users or content, or their ability to send you messages via email service provider platforms like MailChimp, as we’ve recently experienced on GreenMedInfo.com? Where do we go for information then?

NY Times admits it sends stories to US government for approval before publication

The New York Times casually acknowledged that it sends major scoops to the US government before publication, to make sure “national security officials” have “no concerns.”

The New York Times has publicly acknowledged that it sends some of its stories to the US government for approval from “national security officials” before publication.

This confirms what veteran New York Times correspondents like James Risen have said: The American newspaper of record regularly collaborates with the US government, suppressing reporting that top officials don’t want made public.

On June 15, the Times reported that the US government is escalating its cyber attacks on Russia’s power grid. According to the article, “the Trump administration is using new authorities to deploy cybertools more aggressively,” as part of a larger “digital Cold War between Washington and Moscow.”

In response to the report, Donald Trump attacked the Times on Twitter, calling the article “a virtual act of Treason.”

The New York Times PR office replied to Trump from its official Twitter account, defending the story and noting that it had, in fact, been cleared with the US government before being printed.

“Accusing the press of treason is dangerous,” the Times communications team said. “We described the article to the government before publication.”

“As our story notes, President Trump’s own national security officials said there were no concerns,” the Times added.

Two International Shipping Executives Indicted for Participating in Long-Running Antitrust Conspiracy

Antitrust Division’s Investigation into Criminal Violations in the Ocean Shipping Industry Has Led to Charges Against Thirteen Executives and Five Companies

An indictment of two Norwegian shipping executives was unsealed in the U.S. District Court in Baltimore, the Department of Justice announced today.

Ingar Skiaker and Øyvind Ervik have been charged with participating in a long-running conspiracy to allocate certain customers and routes, rig bids, and fix prices for the sale of international ocean shipments of roll-on, roll-off cargo to and from the United States and elsewhere, including the Port of Baltimore. A federal grand jury returned the indictment in February 2018.

Skiaker and Ervik, both Norwegian citizens, are former top executives at Höegh Autoliners AS, which has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to pay a $21 million fine. Including the charges announced today, 13 executives have been charged in the investigation to date. Four have pleaded guilty and been sentenced to serve prison terms. Others remain international fugitives. Including Höegh, five companies have also pleaded guilty for their roles in this conspiracy, resulting in total collective criminal fines over $255 million.

The indictment alleges that, from at least as early as 2006 and continuing at least until September 2012, Skiaker and Ervik conspired with their competitors to allocate certain customers and routes for the shipment of cars and trucks. The defendants accomplished their scheme by, among other things, attending meetings during which they agreed not to compete against each other, and by refraining from bidding or by agreeing on the prices they would bid for certain customers and routes. In addition, Skiaker and Ervik agreed with competitors to fix, stabilize, and maintain rates charged to customers of international ocean shipping services. The customers affected by the conspiracy included U.S. companies.
