News media covers nearly every tweet in actual news casts
Blue checks regularly retweet to comment
About half of Trump's followers are on Twitter - just to follow him, on both sides.
I have had a twatter account since forever but was never active until 2015 after Trump announced
a lot of people joined because of him
Without Trump - Twitter would have crashed ala vine and whatsapp already as they were barely hanging on and losing revenue
