Anons, in response to Vimeo banning Project Veritas I have decided to delete my account. I had a pro account for a year and let it lapse to a basic subscription so this doesn't immediately hit their pocket book but it will hit their subscriber #s (and hopefully send a message to management).
For those of you that have paid memberships I recommend submitting a ticket asking to refund the remaining amount on your subscription and delete your account if you feel as strongly as I do about this latest fuckery. Of course, this may impact your business or social channels but if you aren't willing to take [APPROPRIATE] action over such an overt attempt to stifle free speech I don't know why you are on this board. Vimeo is a business, business is ruled by financials and Vimeo's financials are impacted by subscriber count and, on a more intangible note: brand recognition/value.

How to delete a Vimeo account:

Download all media from your account (if not already backed up)

On the web (desktop - mobile steps may differ) go to your profile by clicking on your user picture at top right\ click "View Profile"

Go into Settings\ Privacy

Next to Upgrade button there will be a delete my account hyperlink

You will be redirected to the "We will miss you!" page \ Enter your PW and click the delete account button

You will be redirected to another page confirming account deletion
