Founder of 'Biblical Flat Earth Society,' Phillip Stephen Stallings, Charged with Child Pornography

A man who claims to be the founder of the “Biblical Flat Earth Society” has been charged with 56 counts of child sexual exploitation.

Phillip Stephen Stallings, 40, from Durham County, US, was arrested after a joint investigation by the Durham Country Sheriff’s Office and the US Department of Homeland Security.

Officials allege Stallings – who boasts more than 6,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel - downloaded media that involved minors engaging in sexual activities.

His arrest was part of a larger investigation undertaken by the Department of Homeland Security, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman AnnMarie Breen said.

On 20 June, Stallings appeared in court, with a judge setting his bail at $500,000.

Stallings website https://www.philipstallings.com describes him as a “Reformed Christian Apologist” and in a featured post he shares his experience in debating “the flat earth issue from the standpoint of Scripture”.

Stallings is due to return to court on 11 July.

Durham man charged with 57 counts of sexual exploitation of minor

A North Carolina man was charged with 57 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor Wednesday after investigators said the man had downloaded child pornography, the News & Observer reported.

Phillip Stephen Stallings, 40, of Durham, was charged with 29 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 28 counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to WTVD.

Suspected sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein was handed another break by the Department of Justice on Monday when federal prosecutors rejected his victims’ efforts to throw out his plea deal and prosecute him for abusing dozens of underage girls.

In the 35-page motion, filed in federal court in the Northern District of Georgia, federal prosecutors said that there is no legal basis to invalidate Epstein’s non-prosecution agreement — and they warned the federal judge in the case against doing the same.

Nearly 100 Cars Got Stuck in a Remote Field After Blindly Following GPS

A Google Maps mishap last weekend resulted in nearly one hundred people driving their cars into the middle of a muddy field, where many of them became stuck. Some of them even caused damage to their cars trying to get through the rough terrain.

It all started on Sunday with an accident on Pena Boulevard in Aurora, Colorado. Hundreds of motorists traveling nearby checked Google Maps for a detour and found an alternative route that would cut their travel time in half.

Connie Monsees was one of the drivers who took the ill-fated detour that day. She was on her way to pick her husband up from Denver International Airport when she ran into the traffic jam and decided to check her phone for a quicker route.

Google Maps asked us to take the Tower exit, so I did because it was supposed to be half the time. It was 47 minutes from Tower Road to the terminal, so I went to the detour, which was supposed to take 23 [minutes],” she told Denver7.

A few minutes down the road, Monsees followed her GPS onto E. 64th Ave. But after a while, the street turned into a dirt road. This made Monsees second-guess the directions, but she decided to follow along the road because everyone else was doing it.

“My thought was, ‘Well there are all these other cars in front of me so it must be OK.’ So I just continued,” she explained.

By the time Monsees noticed that nobody in front of her had any clue what they were doing, it was already too late.

“The question is why did Google send us out there to begin with? There was no turning back once you were out there,” Monsees said.

She said that a good portion of the road was in disrepair and many people caused severe damage to their vehicles.

“I tore up the inside passenger wheel well for my tire, but it’s not that big of a deal compared to some other people who really tore their cars up and got themselves stuck out there,” Monsees said.

Denver7 traffic anchor Jayson Luber said that there were not many options for drivers once they got onto the dirt road.

“There are some back ways to get to and from DIA. However, they are not all perfect. Because that was all open land, there still are some dirt roads out there and not all of them are paved yet,” Luber explained.

Luber said that this is a perfect example of the dangers that can arise from becoming too dependent on smartphones. Luber explained:

You are driving. Google Maps is not driving. Google Maps is not perfect. You need to know where you are going and, if it does not look like that’s where you should be going, turn around and try again. Take a look at the Google map and it’s going to tell you where to go, but you are not a lemming and you don’t need to follow it exactly. It’s better to find your own way and take a look at the map.

There was a sign saying that the road was closed at the entrance of the dirt road, but it was knocked on its side by the time reporters arrived on the scene.

After the incident, Google issued a statement telling drivers to “use their best judgment” on the road.

“We take many factors into account when determining driving routes, including the size of the road and the directness of the route. While we always work to provide the best directions, issues can arise due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather. We encourage all drivers to follow local laws, stay attentive, and use their best judgment while driving,” the statement read, according to CNN.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect the public by regulating the telecom industry. It has a long history of employing people who do the exact opposite.

The current “Race for 5G” has made this much worse. The telecom industry has provided no scientific evidence that 5G is safe and there is research that already proves it isn’t (see 1, 2). Despite increased opposition and warnings from a variety of sources (including the U.S. Navy), The FCC is still forcing it on Americans anyway.

The FCC is also under investigation for collusion because of forced 5G and lawsuits (see 1, 2) have been filed as well. It’s not surprising that one of these folks has finally ended up in the pokey.

Elizabeth Ann Pierce was CEO of Quintillion, an Alaskan telecom company, when she lied to two investment firms in New York in order to raise $270 million to build a fiber network. She also defrauded two individual investors out of $365,000 and used a large chunk of that money for personal expenses.

Pierce, 55, pleaded guilty and last week was given the five-year prison sentence in US District Court for the Southern District of New York, US Attorney Geoffrey Berman announced. Pierce was also “ordered to forfeit $896,698.00 and all of her interests in Quintillion and a property in Texas.” She will also be subject to a restitution order to compensate her victims “at a later date.”

Pierce’s industry experience helped her land the top spot on Pai’s broadband advisory committee in April 2017. But she left Quintillion in July 2017 as her scheme unraveled, and she resigned from the FCC advisory panel. Pai appointed a new chair for his committee two months later; he thanked Pierce for her service, saying she did “an excellent job” chairing the committee and “wish[ed] her all the best in her future endeavors.”

Pelosi Caves to Trump and McConnell: House Will Pass Clean Senate Bill on Emergency Border Crisis Funding

Just hours after vowing to make changes to the Senate bill, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced the House would vote on a clean emergency Senate bill passed Wednesday by an 84-8 bi-partisan vote that funds border crisis humanitarian needs. Pelosi issued a statement saying she was caving because “the children come first.”

President Trump last weekend gave Pelosi two weeks to reform asylum laws in exchange for postponing immigration raids targeting those who had ignored deportation orders. That has not happened, but it did provide the pressure needed to pass stalled emergency border funding requested by Trump. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was able to get a broad consensus bill passed after the Senate rejected a previous bill passed by the House. Pelosi had faced a revolt between moderates in support of and progressives opposed to the Senate bill.

Manafort Pleads Not Guilty to State Mortgage Fraud Charges Brought by Commies in SDNY

President Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Thursday pleaded not guilty to New York state charges of mortgage fraud during an arraignment hearing.

Manafort, 70, is currently serving a seven and half year prison sentence on federal charges for violating FARA related to his Ukrainian lobbying, tax evasion and bank fraud after Mueller and Weissmann hunted him down.

The Steele dossier, which was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC was used by the FBI to obtain FOUR FISA warrants on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page, but there is another fake dossier known as the “black cash ledger” that was used to take down Paul Manafort.

According to John Solomon, the “black cash ledger” which emerged in the Ukraine in the summer of 2016, was used to remove Manafort from Trump’s campaign and eventually used by the US government to prosecute Manafort — in fact, FBI agents mentioned this ledger in an affidavit supporting the July 2017 raid on Manafort’s home.

But that wasn’t enough for the tyrannical government.

The Communists in the Southern District of New York hatched a plot to go around ‘double jeopardy’ laws. This way Manafort would still serve prison time if Trump were to issue a presidential pardon.

If convicted of these state fraud charges, Manafort will remain in jail even if President Trump pardons him.

Meanwhile, Tony Podesta is freely walking around and was given immunity by Mueller even though he was working with the same Ukrainian lobbyists as Manafort and also failed to fill out his FARA forms in a timely manner.

According to reports, Manafort entered the New York courtroom on Thursday in blue a prison jumpsuit and white sneakers.

Judge Maxwell Wiley waived pretrial proceedings for Manafort and also added that there would be no waiver on his detainer, reported Fox News.

This means that if Trump pardons him on federal charges, Manafort would still not be released from prison.

Recall, corrupt Manhattan DA Cy Vance announced these state charges back in March just MINUTES after Manafort was sentenced for the second time on federal charges.

“No one is beyond the law in New York,” Cy Vance previously said.

Paul Manafort’s next court date is October 9.

US, Israeli Flags Burn After Protesters Storm Bahraini Embassy in Iraq Over Middle East Conference

ccording to Iraqi security officials, the Bahraini embassy in Baghdad was stormed Thursday by protesters who disapprove of Bahrain's hosting of a US-led peace conference aimed at securing an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Images on Facebook show protesters in and around the Gulf island nation's diplomatic compound in Baghdad Thursday evening, carrying Palestinian flags and burning US and Israeli flags. They were reportedly particularly angry at the Bahraini foreign minister's interview with an Israeli television station about the conference.

The three-day "Peace to Prosperity" conference, hosted in Manama by US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner, aimed to secure what Trump dubbed the "Deal of the Century," a sweeping solution to myriad regional conflicts centered on Israel and Palestine. The deal includes $50 billion in economic aid over the next decade, including extensive infrastructure investment. However, while the deal was hailed by Israeli politicians, a widespread boycott among Arab nations, including the Palestinians, gave voice to those opposing what one former Palestinian diplomat told Sputnik was a "very disingenuous" deal.

"The reason why Israel, the Israeli government, and unfortunately many US administrations keep pushing those so-called ‘peace processes’ that are all economic projects and no real political resolutions, it comes from this perspective that they know that what is required is a political settlement that requires political compromise," Nizar Farsakh, a former member of the Palestinian negotiation team, told Sputnik on Monday.

The crux of the matter was expressed by an op-ed in the New York Times published on June 24 and penned by Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador to the United Nations. In it, the diplomat said that "national suicide of the Palestinians’ current political and cultural ethos is precisely what is needed for peace."

China Hacked Clinton’s Email Server, Congressman Confirms

The United States intelligence community established that China hacked Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized email server when she served as the secretary of state, according to Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas.)

In an interview with The Epoch Times published on June 26, Gohmert said that the Chinese “actually hacked Hillary Clinton’s personal server—as our intel community established without any question—even though the FBI refused to ever examine the evidence.”

“There’s no question, China was involved,” he added.

Gohmert is the first lawmaker to publicly confirm that China was the foreign actor which hacked Clinton’s server. President Donald Trump is the only other official to have made the same claim.

In July last year, while questioning former FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok, Gohmert said that a forensic analysis of Clinton’s emails conducted by the Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) had determined that a copy of virtually every email from Clinton’s server was sent to an unauthorized source. At the time, Gohmert described the source as “a foreign entity unrelated to Russia” and said that the ICIG can document the forensic analysis.

“But you were given that information and you did nothing with it,” Gohmert told Strzok.

Strzok led the FBI investigation into the mishandling of classified information linked to Clinton’s use of a private email server. Strzok told Gohmert that he remembers meeting with the ICIG officials, but can’t recall the specifics. Similar to Strzok, several other key FBI officials involved in the email probe told Congress that they don’t remember hearing about the ICIG’s referral. The pattern of collective amnesia suggests that one or more officials at the FBI ignored or suppressed the lead.

The ICIG did not respond to a request for comment.

‘Liberal idea’ failed the West, elites forgot about people: Putin in interview

Globalization and the ‘liberal idea’ have failed Europe and the US, while post-Cold War chaos is driving crises in Venezuela and North Korea, but was stopped in Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview to FT.

In a lengthy interview with the UK-based Financial Times on Wednesday, Putin candidly addressed questions about the Russian intervention in Syria – and lack thereof in Venezuela – as well as nuclear proliferation, North Korea, immigration policies in the US and Europe, Russian economy, relations with the UK, and the failure of what he called the “liberal idea” to provide for the people’s well-being.

While the Cold War was bad, Putin told FT’s Lionel Barber and Henry Foy, “there were at least some rules that all participants in international communication more or less adhered to or tried to follow. Now, it seems that there are no rules at all.”

Syria: A calculated risk

Moscow’s decision to intervene in Syria, in the fall of 2015, was undertaken after a careful analysis of risks and potential rewards, because Russia could not stand by while an international terrorist organization (Islamic State, also known as ISIS) grew in its vicinity.

“We have accomplished even more than I had expected,” Putin said. Several thousand militants from the former Soviet Union who joined IS were “eliminated” in Syria instead, improving Russia’s domestic security as well as helping stabilize the Middle East.

Russia also established “very good, business-like, partner-like and largely allied relations” with other regional powers, such as Iran, Turkey and others, Putin added. The Russian military received practical experience it could not have obtained otherwise.

Primarily … we have managed to preserve Syrian statehood, no matter what, and we have prevented Libya-style chaos there.

Putin said he asked the previous US administration what would happen if Syrian President Bashar Assad decided to leave power, just as they had been demanding.

“You cannot even imagine how funny it was. They said, ‘We don’t know.’ But when you do not know what happens tomorrow, why shoot from the hip today?” Putin said.

Russia, he said, prefers to “look at problems thoroughly from all possible angles and not to be in any hurry.”

Venezuela: ‘We do not meddle in things’

There are Russian specialists and instructors in Venezuela, under the terms of a defense contract signed years ago, but there are no Russian troops there and Moscow is not “propping up” President Nicolas Maduro despite US accusations, Putin said.

We do not meddle in things; it is none of our business… This problem should be sorted out by the Venezuelan people themselves. That is all.

He did call out the US and its allies for practicing modern-day “gunboat diplomacy” and wanting to “humiliate Latin American nations” into accepting leaders imposed from the outside.
