I listened to WAAF, WBCN, WZLX in Boston. They were GREAT radio stations that played GREAT rock and roll and were typical of what of radio stations around the country in the early 80s. They just didn't play Ozzy. Bark at the Moon is when Ozzy became more accepted by the music establishment.
