I'll never reply to a FE shill, but sometimes when I'm bored I treat their post
like a practice ACT/SAT/GRE test and try to find the fallacy of their (weak) argument
So this is THE flat earth map? Australia is a bazillion miles from everything on this map
No such thing as an anatomically correct FE map, because the actual distances don't work on a flat map,
only a globe…and the shortest distance between two points is called the Great Circle Route, and that
is the concept that this FE shill is trying to confuse people with
An international pilot can calculate the great circle route and distance between origin and destination
using a globe and a piece of string…no flat map can accurately portray the distances between all locations on earth,
but the globe is accurate 24/7/365 from/to all possible points of origins and destinations
I knew many int'l pilots that carried inflatable globes in their pilot briefcase … for when you land in Timbuktu and want to
get back home without running out of fuel
