It's not just plausible deniability as it is parallel construction. Because of our erratic following of threads right or wrong, we can form connections faster than legal sources. The government has been using parallel construction to lock people up unconstitutionally for years. We have no such limits. The information we collect and push out then becomes public information and can be used without issue. The way the government used it to prosecute was illegal because it started with intel and then collusion with law enforcement to make the case.
