I don't think doctors writing prescriptions are the problem. I think the problem is the CIA, Afghanistan, and pill houses. Doctors have to deal with so much govt red tape now ranging from patient satisfaction surveys, computer system for notes and labs, which are slow to use and fail a lot, constant insurance issues for patients, CME's, license renewals, new laws, HIPPA, in addition to actually practicing medicine. Doctors are working 14 hour days, 5 days a week because of it all.

Yep, doctors' salaries keep declining and benefits slashed, while hospital administrations are bloated, wasteful, and executives make millions as they ruin the profession of medicine.

It's no longer meant to be about patient care or advancement of science, it's a socialized business, with pharma, executives, and politicians at the top, and everyone else as cattle, including doctors and patients.

That behavior is far from mainstream. Pharm reps and doctor interactions are regulated. Pharm reps are only allowed to bring food to sales meetings with doctors. They can't even give out pens, cupholders, etc. like they used to. Doctors are only paid for educational speaking about drugs in conferences and dinners.

Yea, the only people not in the cabal are those who live off the grid making wooden toys in their workshop with hand tools, which they sell for payments in silver.
