To understand the present, we must understand the past. The "World Wars" are an interesting study in how the entire national boundaries of the world were redrawn after WWI, and how WWII was instigated.

One of the interesting histories I found was something called "arenda" – which lasted for centuries in Poland and Lithuania, etc. Arenda was a Jewish monopoly as tax collector. The Monarchs gave them sole power to collect taxes and duties on everything. These were leases. As much as could be collected – was collected – the the Jews kept the difference. There were good leases and some not-so-good leases.

Also: there is much more to the Balfour Agreement than just signing over territory to the Zionists. In 1916, Europe was war weary after two years of fighting. Germany was winning and offered to call it a day and "return as we were before the war."

The Zionists approached Britain and offered to get Americans into the war, if Britain would give them Palestine. Sure enough, through propaganda in America, they entered the war. In 1917, the Zionists wanted the agreement in writing, thus the Balfour Agreement.

The war didn't end until 1919. Germany lost and was punished with great reparations and loss of territory. At the Paris Peace tables, the talk was to give Jews the right to become citizens of palestine. The Zionists then produced the written Agreement and wanted to OWN Palestine. This was when Germany found out that the Zionists had betrayed them horrifically. Germany had wanted a gracious end to the war, and was rewarded with debt and humiliation.

This whole history is screwed. There were as many as ten different treaties, and they were all convoluted between different parties.
