It covers all except the Vatican Archives.
But what information do you need exactly about these topics?
I think I have The Sun in the story, but Egypt is not directly. Solomon's temple is in the story which you may know contained stuff that jews took from Egypt. So that is the connection.

First Templars:
Hugues de Payns (other google positive names names Hugo de Paens, or de Paenciis) founder and first grand maister of the order. Hugues de Champagne, Earl. And Saint Bernard abbot of Clairvaux.
During the the first Crusade around 1100. AD. de Payns went to the Holy Land and after the crusade they all went there several times, but we don't know why they kept going back. (I assume the were looking for the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant). They must have had some kind of clue where and what can be found there.
In 1118. AD. the first 9 knights found the order and their 'official' mission was to guard and protect the Jaffa-Jerusalem pilgrimage route.
Somehow they arranged to get as shelter regularly for years at the exact place where Solomon's temple stood. They are operating as monks instead of knights so they were not involved in any battles and no one can get into their order or close to the Temple but them.
Officially they were renovating underground stables there. (wtf underground stables?) So they obviously digging the area so they have the excuse and the opportunity to find whatever they were looking for.

AD. at least 5 of them returned to Champagne to the Synod of Troyes to form their official order. And very probable they brought the Arc of the Covenant with them.
