Second, why not judge each post independently on its merits?
Third, marketing stuff is controversial, anons/bakers can have different interpretations about what's useful. Most reject posts that offer specific marketing advice.
"Market" would be a better word. But the fact that "market" and "marketing" are similiar illustrates the very problem that arises. When does a report on markets become some kind of promotion or advice? Anons don't want that, obviously. But knowing what the markets are doing may be useful at times. Judgment call.
