Intel agencies may be reined in after Russiagate fiasco - ex-Trump adviser Papadopoulos

The “deep state” that helped orchestrate Russiagate is now running for cover, George Papadopoulos told RT’s Going Underground, predicting that US intelligence agencies could face new oversight as a result of the scandal.

Papadopoulos, a former foreign policy adviser to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign who became a primary target in Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe, explained to host Afshin Rattansi that he fell victim to intelligence agencies that held a “vendetta” against Donald Trump. The deep state’s attempt to remove Trump from office has failed though, Papadopoulos said, adding that there could soon be new laws on the books that would ensure greater accountability for the US intelligence community.

The deep state has the offense turned against them, and it’s going to be an incredible two years in this country and you might actually see new legislation passed that results in further oversights of the intel agencies in this country.

If the US Wants to Reduce Half a TRILLION in Debt Each Year – Have FED Chair Powell Reduce Rates to Obama Levels!

The FED is costing Americans a half a trillion dollars every year with their insanely high interest rates. If we want to save this amount every year, all we have to do is have the FED reduce rates to Obama levels.

Americans are deeply in debt thanks to the Obama era of spend, spend, spend. Over the Obama years the US federal debt load doubled from $10 trillion to nearly $20 trillion of US debt. Obama never cared about the debt burden he was putting on America.

Obama increased the US debt by $3.7 trillion in his first two and a half years in office. The debt rose from $10.6 trillion when he stepped into office and reached $14.3 trillion by June 30, 2011. This was a 35% increase in debt during this time. Never before or since has the US seen the amount of debt increase at such maddening levels.

Since President Trump took over the US debt has increased about $2 trillion or 10% of total debt. This is over a two and a half year period. The debt load when Trump was elected stood at $19.9 trillion. Today the US debt load is $22.0 trillion.

The problem is that under Obama the FED kept interest rates at unheard of lows (at 0%). The FED kept these rates for seven of Obama’s eight years in office. With higher rates Obama would have increased the debt by trillions more.

Under President Trump the FED quickly and radically increased rates by about a quarter of a percent his first two years in office.

The charred remains of missing 23-year-old Utah college student MacKenzie Lueck were discovered last week after police searched Ayoola Ajayi’s home.

Neighbors said they saw 31-year-old Ayoola Ajayi burning something in his backyard, according to reports.

Salt Lake City police had been searching for MacKenzie Lueck for 11 days before they discovered her charred remains.

According to reports, MacKenzie was dropped off at Hatch Park at 3 AM by a Lyft driver after landing at Salt Lake City airport on June 17. The Lyft driver was cleared of any involvement in Lueck’s disappearance and murder.

Authorities combed through MacKenzie’s phone and social media records where they made the connection to Ajayi — both were at the same park at the same time of her disappearance and Ajayi initially denied knowing MacKenzie.

Iran just exceeded its uranium stockpile limit – and plans to keep breaking nuke deal terms

Iran has exceeded the limits imposed on its uranium stockpile set by the 2015 nuclear deal.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Monday that Iran has surpassed the 300-kilogram limit established by the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and will continue development that exceeds other limits mandated by the deal, according to Iran’s Fars News Agency.

“As far as I know, Iran has exceeded the 300kg limit according to the timeline, and we had also earlier announced this issue and clearly stated which measures we will adopt as our rights based on the nuclear deal,” Zarif told reporters in Tehran on Monday.

“The next stage which has been declared pertains to the 3.67% limit which will come into effect in the second phase,” Zarif added.

A source told Fars News Agency that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has also confirmed that the stockpile exceeded the limits.

Europol Report: U.K. has the highest rate of returning Islamist fighters in Europe

European police chiefs have warned that the United Kingdom has by far the highest rate of “exceptionally dangerous” returning Islamist fighters in the whole of Europe. In fact, about half of British citizens who made the journey to Iraq and Syria to fight for ISIS have now returned to the United Kingdom.

Europol – the law enforcement agency of the European Union – has warned that the returned Islamists fighters who’ve trained in and who’ve likely seen battle in the Middle East are “exceptionally dangerous”.

“Their training and experience — such as handling weapons and explosives — makes them exceptionally dangerous,” authors of the report wrote.

As per Europol’s yearly report, 45 percent of the British jihadists who traveled to Iraq and Syria during the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have now made their way safely back to the United Kingdom.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Putin explained what had caused the rise of the "Trump phenomenon" in the United States as well as the success of right-wing populist parties throughout Europe.

"The ruling elites have broken away from the people," he said, adding that the "so-called liberal idea has outlived its purpose" and some western leaders had acknowledged that "multiculturalism" is "no longer tenable".

DOD identifies soldier who died Sunday in Afghanistan

The Pentagon has identified a U.S. soldier who died Sunday in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

Sgt. 1st Class. Elliott J. Robbins, 31, from Ogden, Utah, died from a noncombat incident, which is under investigation, the Pentagon said in a statement Monday.

Robbins was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, Colo.
