as head of CIA pompeo could've collected intel about other countries and the blackhats within their governments. he couldn't share and collaborate such info as a member of the CIA…he probably can as secretary of state. perhaps he gave XI info on the blackhats in china and thats why there is a purge. pompeo is not confirmed yet though… so i don't know if that makes this theory rubbish.
