there's truth in this, but there is a commonality between fascist and communist thinking, and that is authoritarian thinking. These are the people who believe that they know best how you should live. They are (or should be) opposed by all those who know that how you live is none of their business, as long as you don't harm others. Authoritarians want governments - nice, big, kind one's that make the world a better place. Sane and mature people realise that there is no way to agree on that because of our fantastic diversity, and so big governments will always make the world worse. We lost over 200 million people in the last century because of the delusion and confusion of authoritarians - fascist and communist, left and right, that is the battle here.>>690358
