My soon to be 13 yr. old grandson is a high-functioning autist. Didn't speak until age 4. He's now is mainstream middle school where he excels at math, science, robotics, & also has moved up to 1st chair trumpet in the Symphonic Band. He bowls on a weekly youth league where last week he was given a trophy for best overall average! He's sarcastically funny, has a heart of gold, & you're right - truly an angel here on earth.
