Thank you for supporting Autism. Our son was born at Eglin AFB, and has a form of Autism called Asperger's Syndrome. My wife served four years and I served 24 years active duty, 4 years in the DoD, and 2 years with a Defense contractor (Lockheed). We've always been told by physicians, military and public schools that Autism "just happens" and there is no help for our son, but he has overcome so many obstacles nobody thought possible. In fact, I guarantee that if a majority of the human population had just a small bit of Autism, there would be NO evil in this world. Autists are super smart, diligent, have immense respect for humanity and animals, compassionate, and have the biggest hearts. If you don't know someone with Autism, you're missing a great opportunity to have a loyal and caring friend for life. That's how Autists are. Sound too good to be true? I'm slightly biased; however, they are angels on earth in my opinion.
