Pompeo’s Commission on Unalienable Rights Could Change Global Politics

The definition of human rights has changed drastically since America’s founding fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and a new State Department commission that aims to renew these rights could change the face of government around the world.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on July 8 that the Trump administration will take a new direction in foreign policy, “that takes seriously the founders’ ideas of individual liberty and constitutional government.”

He cites Alexis de Tocqueville’s belief in the American experiment, noting that “democracies have a tendency to lose sight of the big picture in the hurly-burly of everyday affairs.” And with this in mind, Pompeo said “every once in a while, we need to step back and reflect seriously on where we are, where we’ve been, and whether we’re headed in the right direction.”

It’s with this in mind that he announced the formation of a Commission on Unalienable Rights that will include “human rights experts, philosophers, and activists, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents of varied background and beliefs, who will provide me with advice on human rights grounded in our nation’s founding principles and the principles of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”

Pompeo hinted at the intentions behind this program, that it could change the “moral landscape” in international relations, similar to the effect of the 1948 Universal Declaration on Human Rights. He also made clear that this wouldn’t include just the known regimes that abuse human rights, but even democratic countries that have drifted away from human rights as they were once interpreted.

If this commission accomplishes what it claims to, it could deeply impact socialist and progressive policies around the world, and in U.S. states, which go against the “unalienable rights” described by the founding fathers, and which place the interests of the collective over the rights of the individual.

Pedosadist Elites Panic: Congress Bill Wants To End Child Porn In Pentagon Networks; Epstein Charged, Files To Be Unsealed On Powerful Clients

America is receiving a hell of a Christmas in July present – a bill in Congress is being pushed to end child porn sharing in Pentagon networks, and Jeffrey Epstein was charged for child trafficking. Additionally, an appeal court ordered that all files pertaining to Epstein’s case of wealthy powerful clients will be released to the press and public. Victims as young as 14 are reported as part of Epstein’s “vast network.” Epstein now faces 45 years in jail — the indictment can be read here.

Congress is aiming to halt child porn distribution within Pentagon networks according to a bipartisan bill (The End Network Abuse Act) that was introduced by Reps. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) and Mark Meadows (R-N.C.)

The National Criminal Justice Training Center, one of the groups that has thrown its weight behind the bill, reported in 2018 that DOD’s network was ranked 19th out of almost 3,000 nationwide networks on the amount of peer-to-peer child pornography sharing.

Spanberger described the issues of child sexual exploitation and abuse as “horrific crimes.”

“The notion that the Department of Defense’s network and Pentagon-issued computers may be used to view, create, or circulate such horrifying images is a shameful disgrace, and one we must fight head on,” Spanberger said in statement. (Source: The Hill)

Department of Defense (DoD) computer networks were found to be downloading/distributing child porn as part of ICE’s 2006 “Operation Flicker” – which identified over 5,000 individuals who had used credit cards or PayPal to buy child porn or subscribe to websites that offered illicit material. Of those employees, ICE identified 264 DoD agents or contractors who had purchased child pornography online.

Nine of them had “Top Secret Sensitive Compartmentalized Information” security clearances, while 76 of them held clearances of Secret or higher.

Those agents were willfully ignored by the Bush administration — that’s more than 200 suspected pedophiles working for the Defense Department who were never investigated.

Senators Brian Schatz (D-HI) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) have introduced similar legislation in the Senate as well. According to The Hill, “A spokesperson for Spanberger told The Hill that while there are no set dates in either the House or Senate for marking up the bill, the sponsors are trying to pass it ‘both as individual bills and as amendments’ to other legislative packages.”

One of those networks that is also involved with Epstein is DynCorp, known infamously for child trafficking.

Following Congress’s bill, approximately 12 years after billionaire Jeffrey Epstein signed a sweet plea deal that let him escape federal charges of sexually abusing dozens of teenage girls at his Palm Beach mansion and running a prostitution ring, the 66-year-old pedophile was arrested by a joint FBI-New York Police Department task force after he landed in a New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport while coming back from a holiday trip from Paris.

Epstein is scheduled to appear in a New York federal court today (Monday) on charges of molesting dozens of underage girls and procuring them for wealthy clients.

Epstein was a hedge fund manager for Bear Sterns, sits on the Harvard, Mind, Brain and Behavior Committee, and is a member of both Trilateral Commission and the CFR.

Iran Central Bank Makes Bitcoin Trading Illegal

Buying and selling cryptocurrencies like bitcoin is illegal in Iran, a senior government official declared, according to a report by local news agency Tasnim News on July 8.

Nasser Hakimi, deputy governor for new technologies at the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), said that bitcoin trading is not legal in the country, citing a related prohibition by a local anti-money laundering (AML) authority, the Supreme Council of Combating and Preventing Money laundering and Financing of Terrorism Crimes.

In an interview with Tasnim News, Hakimi warned the public against legal and investment risks associated with cryptocurrency trading, outlining a high level of bitcoin’s volatility. Alongside, the official also expressed concerns about crypto advertisements, bringing awareness of promoted bitcoin pyramid schemes in the public.

The official has also reportedly raised the issue of the need to draw a distinction between the production of cryptocurrencies and its trading.

In late June, Iranian authorities announced that they start cutting power to cryptocurrency mining until new energy prices are adopted, with a local energy official reporting an abnormal spike of electricity consumption allegedly caused by increased mining of crypto. As such, local prosecutors seized around 1,000 bitcoin miners from two now-defunct farms in late June, BBC reported.

On July 6, Iranian Assistant Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply stated that the United States Congress is allegedly working to stop Iran’s access to crypto and bitcoin mining in an attempt to prevent the country from using a tool for evading sanctions. As previously reported, bitcoin investment among Iranians has become increasingly popular due to a severe inflation of the local fiat currency, Iranian rial (IRR) amid the nuclear crisis deal.
