23 US governors join Calif. in opposing Trump mileage freeze

Citing climate-damaging tailpipe emissions, 23 U.S. governors signed a pledge backing California leaders in their showdown with the Trump administration over its plans to relax vehicle mileage standards .

The stand by leaders of states and Puerto Rico, nearly all Democrats, comes as the Trump administration moves to freeze tougher mileage standards laid out by former President Barack Obama, in one of the previous administration's key efforts against climate change.

The Trump administration says American consumers increasingly want bigger, gas-guzzling SUVs and pickup trucks . It also argues that demanding ever-more fuel-efficient vehicles will drive up automobile costs and keep less-safe, older vehicles on the road longer. Many engineers have challenged that claim.

The governors' pledge on Tuesday commits to sticking to the pre-Trump mileage goals, a program of annual tightening in mileage standards that reduce climate-changing carbon emissions.

"We will not compromise on our responsibility to protect the health of our communities, our climate, and the savings consumers stand to gain at the pump," said the pledge, also signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom. "We will continue to pursue additional concrete actions to fulfill this duty and defend against any threats."

Besides California and Puerto Rico, leaders of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin signed the mileage pledge.

Now, what if, also behind the scenes, you have Stormy Daniels working with the DNC and Hillary Clinton way back in 2016? And, what if their “go-between” was none other than Daniels’ attorney Michael Avanetti, way back before anyone knew his name and before he was officially Daniels’ attorney?

Michael Avenatti is a plant by Hillary Clinton and the DNC, and his handlers are sisters named Alexandra and Andrea Chalupa. The Chalupas are DNC operatives linked to pro-Ukranian groups who also are the team who set-up Paul Manafort. The sisters’ job is to leak fake news to smear President Donald Trump, and Andrea mentioned a “sex tape” and Paul Manfort way back in July 2017.

On July 2, 2017, Andrea Chalupa tweeted, “Same sources told me last years Manafort was under federal investigation and there was a Trump sex tape. I mentioned both on Twitter before news broke.”

Then, we have a picture of Michael Avenatti with Alexandra Chalupa from way back in 2016. Do you see what is going on here? All along, Avenatti was working with the DNC, the Chalupas, and Hillary Clinton — long before anyone knew anything about this porn star Stormy Daniels. Now, we have the porn lawyer running around at the DNC conference, claiming he’s running for president. Sure, it’s a joke, but who is mentioned helping him? Yep, none other than Alexandra Chalupa.

Bloomberg reports, “Adam Parkhomenko, a former DNC staffer who was the co-founder of Ready for Hillary, which encouraged Clinton to run before 2016, helped connect [Avenatti] with reporters at the party’s meeting. Alexandra Chalupa, a Democratic consultant, introduced him to meeting attendees.”

It’s quite the tangled web of sleaze-bags, who have been colluding for over two years to oust our duly elected president. They all have one thing in common: Hillary Clinton. And, all of this is, from the bogus dossier and the dirty FBI players under Comey to Stormy Daniels and her attorney Michael Avenatti, trace right back to Hillary Clinton. It’s time for the other half of the country to wake the hell up, before it’s too late.

I think not.”
