Picking Stockdale as his running mate did make it look like he was a plant at the time I remember. Stockdale was a great guy but not to be a heartbeat away.But Perot was great during the debates. Nobody told Bush he was full of shit on natl tv before. And Clinton at the time was virtually unknown. Probably cabal though
