They do disappear when they get so far from the coast, as ADS-B stops working because they are out of range..

Lion423 (C-130 Hercules) has joined the others in Germany.

Update. Still trying to work out what's going on in Germany. Lion423 crossing into France.

Another C-130, Lion170. This one dropped off ADS-B immediately after I screenshotted it.

ADS-B has gone more or less blank for military traffic. Something is going on, you can tell from the list of planes that I've logged going into Germany near the French border.
