The advantage of the old system is the high refresh rate. Shills cannot do lasting damage, not even when they take over the kitchen. Next baker just fixes it.
And everyone, even those who only use this board as a chat room, sees and comments on the notables when they are at the start of every bread. This maintain quality control.
Sure, it would be nice to see everything from the day in one convenient place. But that is never going to be a robust system resistant to attack.
