Notables are not indicated/substantiated by Q in many cases. I never saw a good purpose for them and never really paid attention to them. If anything, they serve to narrow the field of important posts and can be used to control the narrative of the board.

Are you suggesting people simply check the Q posts and the notables? You're making my point for me. I don't just check what someone else tells me is an important post - I browse it all and make the determination for myself.
