The lack of the 'notables' is quite upsetting.

The previous BO's had an understanding of information theory. They understood that each bread linked to the previous bread in an unending line of hyper-linked information stretching all the way back to the first ever bread.

Having the notables bun summarised at the top of each bread enabled quick review of research and current events and happenings. Having Q Posts just above it was a nice way of knowing Q's been here too. Without the notables bun, each bread has turned into a continuous 4chan /pol/ unordered conversation.

This 'new and improved' cut down exercise in post-modern minimalism is wasting so much time getting up to date with where everything is. I'll say, its so bad that it actually hinders investigation and research and will result in many researchers and casual passers by, here, taking a break from being so engaged at the bleeding edge of history, only coming here to see the latest Q post notable at the top of each bread to post a "thanks Q" and be less engaged. Which is the complete opposite of why Q came here in the first place.

Putting notables in its own thread is nice: maybe I'll write a script to read it. But I doubt it. I just spent the last hour using it to get up to date and it essentially wasted 30+ minutes of my life, and I'm still not sure what was discovered except repetitively seeing that a Goldsmith died - which happened 2+ days ago. Multiply it out by the thousands of people here and I'm sure this recent change has wasted over a month of man hours figuring out what is going on.

In other words: it isnt working.

Right now the previously established hyper-linked meta-collection 'notables' bun at the top of each bread is what is missing from this board. It was best practice. It made the old guard news papers look like amateurs. Bring back what is missing and make this research project whole again!

TL;DR BO: put down the crack pipe, take a step back, realise you're standing on the shoulders of giants and restore the previous best-practice strategy of hyper-linked notables per bread and stop wasting everyones time.
