The controversy on this board as of late goes deeper than the BO’s actions - it is actually the BO decision making process and unilateral and autocratic actions.

Bots were taking over the board and shills and anons were squabbling over notables. Instead of initiating a dialogue with all users of the board, BO took action without the needed dialogue to forge buy-in and acceptance of a proposed change.

BO became a dictator (more than resembling the 2020 Socialist Dem Presidential candidates) imposing his will on the board and refusing to even discuss rolling his autocratic actions back.

Q finally steps in and in a few posts gets the BO to back off.

What we have experienced here is a lesson that can be applied to the country as a whole, If I didn’t know better, I’d think the whole thing was staged to create the object lesson. How easily can a group’s culture and operating procedures be changed under the thumb of a supposedly “well meaning” autocrat? You saw it here, folks and it should scare the hell out of you!
