I just looked at this post from a previous NOTABLES. I grew up in a Christian household and learned the story of Jonah and 'the whale' (really a large FISH?). As an adult I learned a bit more about what was probably going on when Jonah spoke to the people of Nineveh. Apparently, the people worshiped a 'fish god'. Therefore, when Jonah rebelled against preaching to Nineveh and was swallowed by a fish and then spit out it actually enhanced the effectiveness of his call to repentance. Jonah was not happy to witness to the people of Nineveh, because they were a pretty bad lot, I guess, and he didn't really want to see them saved. Though Nineveh was eventually destroyed Jonah's preaching lead to a repentance that gave the city a reprieve. Looking at this post about the Dogon people reminded me of this possible Biblical connection.

I don't think this is inevitable, though natural hope seems scarce. I am a Christian, but there are similarities between Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Q has said "they want you divided". I think that if I were in one of the regions facing this forced demographic and religious "amalgamation" I would be praying about how to share my faith, but also seeking common ground with people of other faiths who share certain core principles. Surely, some Muslim and Jewish families are also seeing that the end-game is not Muslim Europe it is a destruction of ALL cultures, religions and peoples.

I do not believe in religious syncretism (forcing all religions into some sort of nasty amalgam), but I don't think it sinful for ordinary people to work together to preserve our national, religious and cultural heritage. Do the muslims (essentially "forced" to migrate to Europe) really want to be there? Would they rather live in the countries they grew up in if peace were possible?

I do believe in sharing my faith, but true conversion (being "born again") comes through faith and that is the gift of God. I cannot force anyone to believe as I do, which means that I share what I believe and trust God for the outcome. Europeans who want to see their countries preserved might be helped to see that the "invaders" are not their real enemies. Trust God and pray.

This scripture has helped me a lot and I think it can be used as a basis for praying.

Is Bill Clinton currently in the Dominican Republic? If so, why is he not concerned about his welfare there?

When Fox News began covering the mysterious deaths and illnesses of American tourists in the DR, they sent a crew down there to report. Do they have reporters on the ground there now? Will they be in a position to report on an arrest or anything else significant occurring there?

I'm not sure I want to get into this debate with you, because your post is laden with what seems a judgmental, sanctimonious attitude.

When Paul was preaching to the Greeks he noticed a Temple to the "unknown God". He didn't launch into a diatribe against their (obviously) horrible and pagan worship. He showed RESPECT (a form of love) for people who were lost and reached out to them in a manner in which they could hear him.

I have seen a Muslim female teacher show respect to one of my children and an intuitive understanding of what makes a boy a boy that indicated to me an aspect of God's character shown in her. Female modesty including the covering of the hair (not full length black garb with a slit for the eyes) is described in this Bible verse https://biblehub.com/1_corinthians/11-6.htm and used to be "normal" for Christian women.

Jesus is the only way to God. I don't dispute that and don't pretend that I did.

When I encounter people outside the faith, my role is to present the Gospel and learning to respect what they have gotten RIGHT, is better, imo, than to preach from a position of judgment and hostility, which I, as a FELLOW (apparently) believer in Christ have not gotten from you!

It's kind of funny since you jumped to a conclusion without discussion. I can't speak for whoever you were addressing with this post, but I can speak for myself.

The New Testament contains concepts that really on source material or knowledge that was "common" at that time. I have read the book of Enoch and I found it contained information about the "Watchers" that seems very relevant to the understanding of history and maybe the spiritual warfare we face. However, perhaps, Enoch is not in the New Testament in order than we focus on issues of PRIMARY importance such as understanding that the only way to God is through Jesus.

People can debate endlessly about "disputable" matters and render themselves ineffective in enjoying their relationship with God or helping others find Him through Jesus.
