Page 22. No definite time was ordered by the 2nd Circuit. The District Court gave the parties through today to demand redactions. The court decision says it is appropriate to redact for the purpose of avoiding scandal.

Typical judicial mumbo-jumbo designed to fool observers. Cases brought by the government aren't thrown out. Convictions might be reversed on appeal due to inadmissible evidence, etc., and defendant has a right to move to have the charge dismissed. But trial courts don't step on the prosecutor's toes, no matter how egregious the prosecutorial misconduct.

The principle is the same. The courts resist being used as the vehicle for what would otherwise be defamatory expression. Defendant is obviously a target for that, but third parties can be, as well.
