This whole Hakluyt place is a honeyhole for old MI6 agents. They "age out" of intel services, and go straight into oppo research.

What a tidy little setup: Hakluyt's holding legal entity also has an investment arm, juicing up the money they take in from fees, using it to pay agents/employees, fund their benefits/retirement, and pay out to political campaigns to manipulate UK/US government to keep the world stage favorable to their aims.
