Globalists target Italy’s Matteo Salvini for destruction

Salvini is now flirting with the possibility of a snap election before voters as the scandal that has become known as Italy’s version of “Russiagate” continues to make headlines across the main stream media.

Speculation that the government could collapse has intensified with Salvini in non-stop campaign mode, routinely criticizing his coalition ally in the populist, anti-establishment Five Star Movement leader Luigi Di Maio.

Salvini is fighting tooth and nail against suggestions that his far-right League party tried to get covert Russian payments during talks in Moscow last year.

But the revelation by news website Buzzfeed of a conversation recorded in a Moscow hotel between one of Salvini’s top lieutenants and three Russians discussing covert payments has put him on the back foot.

The first reports of these meetings surfaced in the Italian press in February. But the scoop by online news website Buzzfeed — based on an audio recording of the talks — pushed it back centre stage and was widely reported in Italy.

The deal under discussion was to covertly divert $65 million (58 million euros) to the League by means of discounted Russian oil transactions through intermediaries.

Buzzfeed identified Gianluca Savoini of the League as one of three Italians talking to three Russians. It said the talks took place in October.

Former journalist Savoini, 56, is married to a Russian and is president of the Lombardy-Russia association. He is considered one of the League’s main contacts with Russia.

“A hoax, a fraud, a piece of dirt,” Savoini told Italian daily La Repubblicca, describing the Buzzfeed story.

When the story broke on Wednesday, Salvini denied it. “Never taken a ruble, a euro, a dollar or a litre of vodka in financing from Russia,” he said in a statement.

But he has never hidden his admiration for Russian President Vladimir Putin, who visited Italy only last week. And during his visit, Putin referred to a cooperation agreement between his United Russia party and Salvini’s League.

Salvini’s says his support for Putin, his fight to overturn European sanctions imposed against Russia for their 2014 annexation of Crimea from Ukraine, comes “free”. His position is a matter of conviction, he insists.

Tacoma Police: Immigration Center Firebomber Claimed to Be Antifa, Member of Antifa Gun Club

Tacoma Police Department said in an update late Thursday that the 69-year-old man who tried to firebomb an immigration detention center on Saturday claimed association with Antifa, a violent far-left “anti-fascist” movement, and was once a member of a self-proclaimed anti-fascist gun club.

Tacoma Police Department Public Information Officer Loretta Cool said in an update emailed to reporters:

Subsequent investigation into the events leading up to the shooting and possible motivations for suspect Willem Van Spronsen have been discovered. Detectives have learned that the suspect claimed association with Antifa. Willem Van Spronsen was a known anarchist as well and was once a member of the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club, a self-proclaimed anti-fascist organization.

It is the first time the Tacoma Police Department, which is leading the investigation into Van Spronsen in cooperation with the FBI, has acknowledged a link between Willem Van Spronsen and Antifa.

It is also the first time the police department is acknowledging his membership in the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club, which was featured on CNN’s United Shades of America in a May 5th episode. Van Spronsen was featured throughout the episode, in which the host praised the club’s members.

Cool also acknowledged for the first time that Van Spronsen left behind a “manifesto.”

“Detectives are still reviewing a ‘manifesto’ letter authored by Willem Van Spronsen which was widely distributed by him prior to his death. The Tacoma Police Department was not made aware of the letter prior to the investigation of the incident,” she said.

Local TV station KIRO-TV published what it said was Van Spronsen’s manifesto on their website, which showed he used the term “concentration camps” when referring to immigration detention facilities, echoing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)’s use of the term.

The manifesto said:

There’s wrong and there’s right. it’s time to take action against the forces of evil. evil says one life is worth less than another. evil says the flow of commerce is our purpose here. evil says concentration camps for folks deemed lesser are necessary. The handmaid of evil says the concentration camps should be more humane.

It also stated, “I am antifa, i stand with comrades around the world who act from the love of life in every permutation.”

Ocasio-Cortez this week did not respond to a Rebel News reporter asking if she would condemn Van Spronsen’s attack or Antifa:

Trump Administration & Pelosi Negotiate $2 Trillion Budget Deal Over the Corpse of Fiscal Conservatism

Rush Limbaugh admitted on his radio show what many of us have known for a long time: "Nobody is a fiscal conservative anymore," he announced earlier this week. "All this talk about concern for the deficit and the budget has been bogus for as long as it’s been around."

As if on cue, Trump's Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin is poised to strike a budget deal with Nancy Pelosi that could add "as much as $2 trillion to the national debt over a decade," according to a just-released report from The Hill.

Trump's proposal to cap some domestic spending was DOA in the Democrat-held House, and there's a deadline coming to raise the debt ceiling or risk default – a chance Mnuchin reportedly doesn't want to take. Pelosi, on the other hand, isn't afraid to play chicken with the debt ceiling. When Republicans hold the House and the there's a government shutdown, that's the Republicans' fault. When Democrats hold the House and there's a government shutdown, that's the Republicans' fault, too. You can thank the Democrat-Media Complex for this impossible situation.

Complicating things further, there's an election coming up, so Mnuchin and Trump don't have much stomach for a drawn-out fight. As Republican Congressman Tom Cole admitted, "The real good for us is two years of stability, which I think is very important to keep the economy moving in the right direction and government function."

Our total debt is up by well over $2 trillion on Trump's watch, with 18 months still to go in his first term. Next year's deficit, which gets tacked right on to the existing debt, is going to be over one trillion dollars in just one fiscal year. After that, it's pretty much trillion-dollar annual deficits for as far as the eye can see – and growing nonstop as Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid spending explode. Or as Steely Dan put it, "Things may get a whole lot worse before suddenly falling apart."

Tax revenues are at record levels, "despite" the GOP tax reform law that kicked in last year. We aren't fighting any major wars. The economy is humming along, and employment is about as strong as it's ever been. If there were ever a time to take some fiscal methadone to curb Washington's addiction to debt, this would be it.

Instead, the Trump White House and the Democratic House are negotiating how much bigger of a hit to take.

So, yeah, it's safe to say that fiscal conservatism is dead. But it wasn't Washington that murdered it: It was the American people, who demand free goodies and require zero budget discipline. Which should remind you of something Alexis de Tocqueville warned of almost two centuries ago, "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money."

CNN abandoned journalism and became a propaganda ministry for the Democratic National Committee and the corrupt upper echelons of the CIA and FBI. After three years of telling the most outrageous lies ever associated with an alleged news organization in an alleged democracy, CNN’s viewership collapsed. This gibberish from CNN comes after US Federal District judge Dabney Friedrich ruled that Mueller’s claim in his report of Russian “sweeping and systematic” meddling in the US election is nothing but an unsubstantiated allegation that constitutes nothing but an evidence-free indictment, thereby being an invalid indictment. US Poised to Send 500 Troops to Saudi Arabia Amid Iran Tensions

Osama bin Laden said he attacked the US on 9/11 because of US troops in Saudi Arabia

After satellite images showed facilities being prepared for them, US officials were quoted in the media as saying that there is a plan to send “up to 500” US ground troops to Saudi Arabia in response to Iran tensions.

Former Congressman Ron Paul commented on the matter, both saying it accomplishes very little, and warning that historically having US troops on the Arabian Peninsula has been a source of anger among Islamists. Osama bin Laden specifically attributed his 9/11 attack to the US having troops in his holy land. After 9/11, the US made a point of removing troops from Saudi Arabia, and now seems to be in the process of sending them back.

The soldiers will be sent to an area next to the Prince Sultan Airbase east of the Saudi capital of Riyadh, where there are plans for a large missile installation to protect the base.

With officials trying to present this as something to do with Iran, this is a continuation of a US military buildup across the Middle East that has been ongoing for months, each if which ends up being justified by some non-specific Iranian “provocation.”

Britain says seizures of UK vessels by Iran are ‘unacceptable

UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has confirmed that two naval vessels have been seized by Iranian authorities in the Strait of Hormuz.

"I'm extremely concerned by the seizure of two naval vessels by Iranian authorities in the Strait of Hormuz," Hunt told journalists, adding that he would soon attend the emergency cabinet meeting aimed at looking for ways to “swiftly secure the release of the two vessels.”

"These seizures are unacceptable. It is essential that freedom of navigation is maintained and that all ships can move safely and freely in the region."

Hunt said that there are no British citizens among the crew members of either ship. He also added that the British ambassador in Tehran has already contacted the Iranian Foreign Ministry in an attempt to resolve the situation while the UK also approached other “international partners.”
