On September 11, 2012, the US Consulate in Benghazi was attacked. President Barack Obama knew about the Benghazi Consulate terror attacks 90 minutes after they began.

The attack in Benghazi took place in two waves at the consulate and lasted several hours.

Libyan “looters” (terrorists) found the body of Ambassador Chris Stevens hours after the attack began and they carried his dead body through the streets.

US military contractors begged for help while battling Islamist extremists for 13 hours while Obama slept.

Former Rep. Jason Chaffetz was the first US lawmaker to arrive in Benghazi after the attacks.

I’ve done s lot of research on tax exemptions and tax exempt industries and organizations in the US Virgin Islands and it seems open ended to whatever the next industry wants tax exemption there

Their laws are hideously corrupt and manage to exempt foreign companies but if any taxes are paid its paid to the USVI and not the US Fed. There’s a lot to dig in and Epstein got tax exemption of many of his businesses, etc. I’d post more but that’s enough to get us started.

Tax Free Entities in the USVI – USVI Exempt Companies

There are three types of entities that can be established in the USVI which are either fully or partially exempt from USVI taxes and U.S. federal income taxes. One type of entity is a USVI corporation which obtains the benefits of the Virgin Islands Industrial Development Program[2] for its business activities in the USVI. These companies are fully exempt from most local taxes and receive a 90% exemption from USVI income taxes. They also enjoy a special customs duty rate of one percent. These companies are generally not subject to U.S. federal income taxes on their USVI operations.

Another tax free entity is a USVI foreign sales corporation[8] (FSC) which pays no local taxes except for a nominal annual fee. Thousands of USVI FSCs have been set up by U.S. exporters as a means to reduce U.S. federal income taxes on their export sales by about 15%.

For foreign persons, even more generous exemptions are available through the use of the third type of tax-free entity: a USVI exempt company. The USVI is the only jurisdiction in the world where a non-U.S. person can establish a tax-free entity under the U.S. flag. USVI exempt companies are often used as holding companies for portfolio investments, for the ownership of aircraft[11] that are registered with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, or as captive insurance companies[10]. There are a number of other offshore tax planning[9] structures that can take advantage of USVI exempt companies.

Except in the case of certain captive insurance companies, U.S. and USVI citizens, residents, and companies are prohibited from owning, directly or indirectly, ten percent or more of the stock of a USVI exempt company. With respect to income from all sources except those in the United States or the USVI, an exempt company is entirely free of all U.S. and USVI income taxes. Furthermore, except for a nominal annual franchise fee ($1,000), an exempt company is free from all local taxes as well. These tax benefits are guaranteed for 20 years by contract with the USVI government. The identity of the owner of a USVI exempt companies is not public information but it is subject to disclosure to the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue[13] or the IRS upon proper request.

ST. CROIX, Virgin Islands – The Federal Emergency Management Agency and its partners have provided more than $1 billion to households, businesses, territorial agencies and flood insurance policyholders to help them recover from hurricanes Irma and Maria.

As of March 19, the funding includes:

$74.8 million in Individual Assistance for individuals and households, including rental assistance, repair costs and other eligible disaster-related expenses not covered by insurance.

FEMA Officials Provide Senators with Off-Camera Briefing on US Virgin Islands FEMA aid

Federal Emergency Management Agency officials Jacqueline Heyliger and Marisa Allen briefed USVI senators on federal spending in the territory at an unpublicized, informal meeting at the St. Croix Training Annex in the Nissan Building in Christiansted Tuesday.

Senators held a similar non-public meeting with Economic Development Authority officials Monday. This sort of information-gathering has historically been provided in televised public V.I. Legislature committee hearings. These non-public meetings are a departure from past practice.

The information released by the Legislature about the meeting was cursory and fragmented, with a mix of numbers without context or background information and statements of long-public information, such as the fact that federal funds are being spent to put some Water and Power Authority lines underground and WAPA is putting up hurricane-resistant poles.

According to the Legislature, senators were told that as of Feb. 5 the federal government had made more than $2 billion in funding available. FEMA Public Assistance comes to $1.7 billion.

I realised after I posted the post on Omar saying Ali Akbar, that there’s no way to confirm it was associated with Benghazi, because the tweet was a full two weeks later. That’s very suspicious to me to combine the two incidents. I’m not saying she’s not evil, I’m saying it’s not a solid connection

Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Republican Opponent Raises Concerns About Pattern of Traffic Violations

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was arrested for failing to show current driver registration during her 2018 congressional campaign, marking the latest in a pattern of traffic incidents that include an arrest for driving without a license and two apparent driver’s license suspensions. Her Republican opponent believes these traffic violations point to deeper issues that should concern the voters.

In the case of State of Minnesota vs. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, filed on Oct. 25, 2018 in Hennepin County Criminal/Traffic/Petty Downtown court, Omar was convicted of Failure to Display Current Registration — Expired Plates, a petty misdemeanor.

Omar was convicted on November 16, 2018, shortly after her election to U.S. Congress. The October 4, 1982 birth date of the convicted person matches Congresswoman Omar’s birthdate.

“The lack of reporting is concerning. I get it, the district has been a Democratic district for a little while, but at what point is the press required to do their job and actually inform the people of character concerns?,” Danielle Stella, Omar’s 2020 Republican challenger, told The Epoch Times, referring to the failure by the media to report on Omar’s traffic troubles.

Omar was also convicted of a petty misdemeanor on Dec. 22, 2016 in the case State of Minnesota vs. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, after she was found to have “Vehicle Registration Required.” In this case, there is no mention of expired license plates. Omar failed to appear in court or pay her fine, prompting a second penalty that was sent to collections and ultimately rejected by the collection agency.

On Oct. 12, 2012, Omar was convicted of a petty misdemeanor of speeding but days earlier her misdemeanor charge for driving with no Minnesota driver’s license had been dismissed. Omar initially failed to appear in court. Court records note that on June 8, 2012, a drivers license suspension request was sent to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Upon conviction, a drivers license reinstatement request was sent to the Department of Public Safety, indicating that Omar’s license was suspended in the interim.

Court records show previous Omar convictions for illegal right turn on red in 2012 and disobeying a stop sign in 2010. In the latter case, court records show that a drivers license suspension request was sent to the Department of Public Safety on July 20, 2009, and a drivers license reinstatement request was sent to the Department of Public Safety on Sept. 28, 2010, indicating that Omar’s license was suspended for an extended period of time.

One thing that’s concerning is the sheer amount of traffic violations and carelessness with not having her registration

It keeps occurring, I don’t know if she thinks she is above the law or in Minneapolis maybe she is the law because no one reports on it,” Danielle Stella said. “Either way it doesn’t bode well for somebody who is supposed to be representing the people.”

Omar was arrested and booked in 2013 at Hennepin County Jail for “Trespassing and Refusing to Leave A Hotel Upon Lawful Demand,” according to a police report.

Canada Paying for Past Mistakes in Recent China Troubles

But the reason Ottawa hasn’t been able to secure stronger support from Washington is that it lacks credibility when it comes to taking action against Beijing, with Washington seeing Canada as being reluctant to take a stand against China the way the United States has, Crowley says.

“There’s a credibility issue here. If Canada goes to the United States and says let’s work to create an international coalition [in response to China], the Americans—quite properly—might say Canada talks a good game, but all you do is talk,” Crowley said.

While the United States has risked a trade war to get China to behave, Canada still hasn’t booted Chinese telecom giant Huawei from its 5G network, and it has allowed Chinese companies to take over sensitive high-tech Canadian firms despite public outcries from U.S. politicians. Canada has also not been fully meeting its commitment to NATO.

“[The U.S. would say] you want our help with China, but you’re not willing to own your commitment to NATO, to spend 2 percent of your GDP on defence,” Crowley added. “So Canada’s soft-pedalling on these issues is coming back to haunt us.”

‘Terrible Naiveté About China’

Since Canada arrested Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou on a U.S. extradition request last December, the two Canadians China detained shortly afterward are still behind bars in China, two Canadians charged with drug crimes in China have been sentenced to death, and a third Canadian was reportedly detained last week on drug-related charges. In addition, Canadian imports of canola, meat, and other products have been blocked from export to China, causing massive losses to Canadian producers.
