"fast and furious" AND "occupy" have interesting military implications

I say this because I went to "Occupy" camps and many were passing out socialist literature.

Not to say the organizers meant this, but that socialists are insurgents in all groups.

Occupy began as a reaction to the lack of prosecutions of Wall Street thieves. The more I learned, however, the more it appeared to be a very organized operation of some sort. It came across as a new and revised version of "democracy" with hand signals for voting and for spreading information. Several people greeted others with "we are one." Sorry. I'm an individual not a groupie.

(excerpts)

Blitzkrieg from Blitz ["lightning"] + Krieg ["war"]) is a method of warfare whereby an attacking force, spearheaded by a dense concentration of armored and motorized or mechanized infantry formations with close air support, breaks through the opponent's line of defense by short, fast, powerful attacks and then dislocates the defenders, using speed and surprise to encircle them with the help of air superiority. Through the employment of combined arms in manoeuvre warfare, blitzkrieg attempts to unbalance the enemy by making it difficult for it to respond to the continuously changing front, then defeat it in a decisive Vernichtungsschlacht (battle of annihilation).

The term had appeared in 1935, in a German military periodical Deutsche Wehr (German Defence), in connection to quick or lightning warfare.[8] German maneuvre operations were successful in the campaigns of 1939–1941 and by 1940 the term blitzkrieg was extensively used in Western media.[9][10] Blitzkrieg operations capitalized on surprise penetrations (e.g., the penetration of the Ardennes forest region), general enemy unreadiness and their inability to match the pace of the German attack.

—————–

There is a Hitler series on the cable History Channel tonight that describes how fast the Germans overcame France and other countries. After this quick takeover, there was a propaganda campaign promoting "how generous and kind" the Germans were. So the populations were disarmed in several ways with the underlying threat of retaliation by the occupying forces.

Tonight it seems to be centered around how drugs were used by the Germans AND Hitler.

Hitler was a drug addict and was likely STONED on D-day, explaining his slow reaction.

There was a drug called "Pervitin" that was a behavior enhancing substance.

Now 20 minutes into tonights show – looks like they are trying to find connections from Hitler to Trump. "He was a showman." "He said things he knew people wanted to hear." "He had a public appearance of a purist, practicing good health and diet, and clean habits."

But Hitler's doctor made notations of his treatments "injection as usual." Some were glucose and hormone injections to give more energy.
