The reason they want Mueller's testimony is that they want some variety of opinion to point at that is solidly his own to justify impeachment. They want that soundbyte.

Barr has no obligation to inform the public or to declassify anything in response to a false or misleading statement/claim. That is the fun part. Q was very insistent on reviewing how impeachment works for a reason. Perhaps that is a disinformation deployment, but the longer this goes on, the more inclined I am to pick out a question implied within Q's post:
"How do you make sure everyone watches the trial/testimony/interview?"
To that, the answer is drama and tension. Naturally, this must build to an impeachment trial and proceedings.
