Understanding osteoporosis with a forward positioned head, the two tendons in the front of your neck (sternocleidomastoid) strain to support the head.

Due to her publicly available health regarding osteoporosis, we know that is why she has her head in a forward position.

 

So that explains the strain on the muscles. She also has a large gap between the two muscles. This is due to the strain of the muscles pulling out from the surrounding tissues and really creating a large gap beneath the crichoid cartilage.

 

Again, this is not abnormal for her age and medical conditions.

 

What IS abnormal, is the stretched skin going from under her chin to her sternocleidomastoid muscles. Notice that the skin stops stretching there, at the muscles, with no more strain on skin past that point.

 

That is what i find odd.
