Chappelle said in an interview (Montel maybe?) that he was told he had to wear a dress in a movie, or he wouldn't go forward. He said fuck no! He said that's how Hollywood is - they make you wear a dress (emasculation/humiliation) and do sick shit and if you don't, you don't get roles. He listed several Hwood stars as examples.
Do rememeber that after that he had to "get away for his mental health"? He just disappeared for a while, IIRC he went to S Africa or something.
