Notice that Mueller is saying very little, himself. So many in DC are trying to tell everyone what Mueller is up to, why he is investigating this or that or the other.

Look at what was in the Schiff Memo vs what was removed. Look at the relationship between Carter Page and the FBI in 2013 and 2016. Page was an FBI informant who regularly reported on Russian activities and led to several successful court indictments.

Why, then, was he the subject of a Title 1 FISA - as if he was a Russian operative?

Why did this hinge on the Steele Dossier, and not other FBI/CIA reports?

What is the thrust of the Steele Dossier? That Trump is willingly colluding with Russia, or that Russia is using blackmail?

What does the Special Commission letter give Mueller the authority to investigate and indict?

Even if the Steele Dossier was 100% accurate in its assessment, what would Mueller's team have done? Prosecute those blackmailing POTUS?

Taken with the breadth of his commission's goals, why would he be asking Trump's businesses and campaigns for records… The same businesses who were run by prior FBI informants?

Comey, McCabe, etc - those guys know what is going on. They are in full on panic. They know Mueller is not theirs, now - and that he was given authority to effectively indict all of DC.

The media doesn't get it. They are still seeing the actions of Mueller as investigating the criminal wrongdoing of drumpf. Even if Schiff and company want to try and sound the alarm and rally public opinion, they have to try and reverse course over all of the praise they gave Mueller as the least corruptible FBI guy in history.

There is no escape.

There are no deals.

Mueller is cool as a cucumber and POTUS has not once attacked Mueller, if I am not mistaken. He has called the investigation ridiculous and a waste of time. But unlike Schiff, Comey, and McCabe - very quiet on Mueller.

Consider. Mueller doesn't even have to attack or indict the swamp. All he has to do is report what the Russians did and didn't do… And what POTUS did or didn't do. The IG report lays open that Page was an FBI informant. Separate - rather meh… Together - enough for Sessions to go happyville hammertime.
