"For researchers who are looking for a source to verify this story, I've been looking for but can't find an English language version. Bear with me, here's a article in Spanish, it's important news so worth the hassle to run through Google translate."
Your reference link: https://vanguardia.com.mx/articulo/rechazan-amparo-de-collado-contra-congelamiento-de-cuentas
Problem statement:
Google Translate won't/can't translate your link directly from https://translate.google.com/
This happens more often than makes sense. I don't know why.
Solution 1: Give up.
Solution 2: Try harder.
Step 1:
Go to google.com (not Google Translate) using Firefox
Step 2:
Search for the headline of your article in Spanish
Plain Google search for "Rechazan amparo de Collado contra congelamiento de cuentas"
Step 3:
When the Google results are returned your article will display (usually) first AND there will be an option from Google to "Translate this page"
Step 4:
Click the "Translate this page" hyperlink.
Step 5:
Copy the Google Translate link.

Step 6: Paste link in Twitter and share with the world.
Step 7: Keep up the good work.
