Ariana Grande Speaks Out After Predatory Photographer Scandal
Yesterday, celebrity photographer Marcus Hyde was accused of predatory behavior toward models. As Diet Prada originally reported, a Los Angeles model and interior design student named Sunnaya responded to Hyde's Instagram Story where he asked if anyone wanted to shoot with him. She shared screenshots of his alleged DMs to her, where he suggested he would not charge her if she shot nude with him and sent him nude photos beforehand, but would charge he if she didn't.
Hyde has photographed celebrities like Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian before. Grande responded in her Instagram Story to the scandal after she learned about the story. She did not call out Hyde explicitly but shared how upset she was about the situation and asked people to "look out for one another." She wrote:
Dear models/artists in LA/anywhere,
I have just read some shocking and really heartbreaking stories. I hate that this is a conversation. But. Please do not shoot with photographers who make you uncomfortable or make you feel like you need to take off our clothing off if you don’t want to. If you want to, sick. But if you don’t, please don’t. If they tell you you have to pay more money if you’re clothed that’s fucked and I’m sorry that has happened to you. I promise there are so many respectful, nice, talented photographers out there.
I hate hearing about things like this. I am sorry that that was anybody’s experience and know that it doesn’t have to be.
Look out for one another. Tag your friends on posts of other photographers who’s [sic] work you like and have had positive experiences with and help each other get connected.
Love working with you guys so much @alfredoflores, @allthingsmean, @photokohli."

Triad = Chinese Antifa?
The savage beating of Hong Kong protesters by a mob of triad gangsters has deepened fears about the city’s notorious criminal gangs and the use of shadowy hired muscle to defend China’s interests.
At least 45 people were hospitalised after Sunday’s attack when men armed with poles and rods assaulted anti-government protesters in the rural town of Yuen Long as they returned from another huge rally.
In a city that prides itself on a reputation for safety the scenes caused outrage and fear.

Li, who was 90, died on Monday in Beijing, Xinhua reported, more than three decades after his government authorised a bloody suppression of student-led pro-democracy protests in the early hours of June 4, 1989.
His death comes as China grapples with a widening political crisis in Hong Kong, where violent protests in the Chinese-controlled territory over an extradition bill have presented Beijing with the most serious popular challenge to its governance since the Tiananmen demonstrations.
Along with then-paramount leader Deng Xiaoping, Li was seen as an unapologetic hardliner responsible for ordering the assault that crushed weeks of demonstrations by protesters in Beijing.
His declaration of martial law over parts of Beijing on national television in the weeks before tanks and troops swept the square of protesters made him one of the most prominent faces of a crackdown that continues to colour global perception of China's Communist Party leadership.

Nadler: Mueller doesn't have to comply with DOJ letter
In an interview with CNN's Alisyn Camerota, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said it was arrogant for the Justice Department to send former special counsel Robert Mueller a letter about what he can say when he testifies in front of Congress, adding that Mueller doesn't have to comply with the letter.

FBI Director Christopher Wray is set to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, which is sure to include questions about the Russia probe.
The committee is chaired by one of President Donald Trump’s closest allies: Sen. Lindsey Graham. The South Carolina Republican has vowed to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation.
The hearing could be a preview of the intense questioning special counsel Robert Mueller will face in Congress on Wednesday.
Republicans are likely to spend time questioning Wray and Mueller about Peter Strzok, an FBI agent who helped lead the Trump investigation and exchanged anti-Trump text messages during the 2016 election with an FBI lawyer, Lisa Page, before he was fired and she left the bureau.

NEW YORK, July 23 (Reuters) - The financier Jeffrey Epstein has appealed a federal judge's decision to keep him in jail while he awaits trial on sex trafficking charges.
According to a court filing made public on Tuesday, Epstein is asking the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to review U.S. District Judge Richard Berman's July 18 rejection of his request to remain under house arrest in his Manhattan mansion.
Epstein has pleaded not guilty. (Reporting by Jonathan Stempel in New York Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
While we're at it, the file type issue is a fucking joke, fix it.
But beyond that, 8ch should ALSO recognize if an anon is reply to a PB/LB post.
In other words, when someone posts and includes a PB/LB posts, 8ch should recognize that immediately and place an identifier on the new post.
These are things a high schooler could do. Why they aren't happening on the bleeding edge of a revolution escapes me.
waaaaa! there's a KNOWN issue with 8ch, but it's the USERS fault waaaaaa!
