Some Christians I know claim that the King James Version was pre-ordained by a God out of time to be the one true transmission. Leaving everyone who came before it f*cked.
Others tell me that no matter what the scriptural corruptions, God has made it inevitable that the corruptions result in a cogent scripture equaling the infallible Word of God.
If the latter were true, and God would leave us at the end of all the textual interpolations and corruptions with an infallible text, then why would he leave us with such a fallible and utterly corrupt Church? Much less one with a thousand splinters?
