Here's the problem, the system, cops included was captured, and transformed into an us vs them situation. For several decades now laws have been made to create criminals instead of deter or punish, because it became profitable for them. We are assets/numbers nothing more.
So, as a result the cops and any form of governing agency/agent has lost the public trust and truly became the enemy of the people.
Even though there are plenty of good people in the system, the bad actors who used/abused it for personal gain ruined it completely.
So as a result the Good agents/officers have to shoulder all of the hatred/frustration/grief. And they must do so with calm/patience and re-build the public trust. It starts with leadership i.e. Trump and a governing system that does not abuse the citizenry it was sworn to protect.
There are mistakes in reprints etc. It is unavoidable. The King James versions are simply the closest and most accurate. The best advice for accuracy is to go back to the original greek and hebrew words/terms. There are greek and hebrew bibles available, this of course requires you to do even more studying and learn the customs/verbal sayings/anachronisms of the culture at those specific times.
As for your second statement, God gave us what we need, but we are still human. Some make mistakes, while others manipulate. It's a mixed bag which in the end should tell you it is up to you to Trust but Verify.
