Graham starts off with the premise that the Russians did interfere with the election, but didn't affect the outcome. Brings up china. Feinstein welcomes Wray. Wray is all smiles. Feinstein is on the same page as Graham, foreign actors are a substantial threat to election, and Trump thinks the FBI is corrupt, full of dirty cops, and part of a deep state. Feinstein thinks these false beliefs are harmful and erode confidence in the institution. Feinstein says there was a lawful reason to look at Trump campaign, in response to info provided by a foreign government shortly after Wikileaks published documents stolen by Russia. Australia informed the US that papadopolus informed them that Russia had dirt. Total "conventional wisdom," fabricated by a team of hoaxters across the globe.

Graham says Senate Judiciary will be doing a deep dive into FBI starting investigation into Trump, and will be calling Papadopolus as a witness.

Wray opening. His prepared statement is going to be congratulatory of the great work of the FBI, but he deviates to say that FBI officer safety depends on LEO partners at state and local levels.

So is Graham. In fact, nobody in Congress has suggested that the January 2017 report and conclusions of DNI are mistaken, let alone accuse them of knowingly passing a fabricated hoax to the public for the purpose of reversing the outcome of the election.

Refeences to Stone and Concord cases is simply a specific citation to court-issued gag orders, or standing rules of the court that prohibit prosecutors from making certain remarks out of court.

The Weinenheimer letter is nothing more than a summary of preexisting rules, as applied in particular to the cases Mueller is involved in.

Graham and Wray tag teaming to create the impression that the government can be trusted to investigate itself. Horowitz report will be comprehensive, accurate, blah blah blah.

I'm watching. So far, waste of time. Accusations that Trump is fostering white supremacy (Durbin), that Trump colluded with Russia (Feinstein). FBI is perfect (Graham). Feinstein tried to get Wray to testify on supporting material for the Mueller/Wesimann dossier, Wray defered to Mueller and to ongoing investigations, but yes, he's seen some of the material, and he thinks he knows what case Feinstein is referring to.

This is the typical gaslighting of the public, by government actors.

Barr's contention is a bit of nonsense, If they have probable cause, they can arrest. If the suspect refuses to decrypt, the court will jail them for contempt. Barr is basically saying we know (KNOW) there is conspiracy to murder, and we choose to not act, even though we know a crime has been committed.

Roger Stone was indicted by Mueller for obstruction, false statements, and witness tampering. Stone has been gagged by the court. Before he was gagged, he mocked team Mueller in very public press conferences.

Stone being gagged, so is the prosecutor. This benefits the prosecution. The case against Stone is weak, reeks of prosecutorial animus (as do the Manafort and Flynn cases), and is the usual "process is the punishment" event. Abuse of power. It's all the rage. The government is NOT your friend. It lies, and it is run by psychopaths and sociopaths.

No. Pence was held back because one of the people who he was to meet and greet (shake hands) was going to be arrested for trafficking in opiates. Arrest happened a couple days ago.

Under questioning from Cruz, Wray says the FBI does not view Antifa as an organization, but rather as an ideology. FBI does not investigate ideologies. Antifa given a a pass by the FBI.
