Every time I sit and watch these hearings, I feel like I understand the meaning of "watching the destruction of the Old Guard." In regards to the Declaration of Independence, "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."
Congress as we know it, and the Federal Government in fact, is now longer capable of effectively upholding the rule of law. Bit by bit, there is more evidence that this form of government has now failed and needs to be abolished.
