Everyone forgets about the Kebley fellow who was added at the last minute. Did you hear Mueller’s description of him? He said “He performed the day-to-day oversight of the investigation.”

Mueller wasn’t acting. He knew very little of the details in the report. If you didn’t notice, go back and watch the hearings and watch Mueller’s aides and the binder he was using. Rarely, if ever, did they actually turn the pages. Mueller actually read from the report maybe twice all day. He would have the questioner read from the report.

I think Mueller was there because he was pressured (blackmailed) into being there by the swampers. He knew that legally, he could not give any answers different than what was in the report. He tried to help the Democrats when he could, but he valued his reputation more than their approval. So, he resorted to deflection and “Not within my purview.”

For Mueller, this was his last day with this mess. The Dems will not let him get within 3 miles of a microphone after this.

In my opinion, what yesterday told me is that when William Barr became AG, he told Mueller that the open ended witch-hunt is over, to wrap it up NOW and close up shop. It also told me that Andrew Weissman basically ran the Special Counsel Office.
