I believe you are correct, because I remember some Vietnam era vets discussing this with me when SpouseAnon was going thru TBS. He was fast tracked, started OCS first week of January, commissioned second week of march, went right over to TBS, graduated TBS October, started flight school in November, with some downtime for broken aircraft, got his wings the following October. This was early 90's, when the classes were much smaller and the Corps was being very selective. RIFs had taken place, etc so the volume thru was much smaller than normal, and that was the time line if one went straight through with no waiting periods between OCS-TBS-Final school.

When we lived on Camp P in base housing, a bunch of enlisted wives got arrested for human smuggling. This was early 2000's, so it's been going on for a while. Now I am told illegals are wearing Marine uniforms to avoid scrutiny.
